My Trading Method: Seek, Flip, Launch

The way I trade starts with the higher timeframe, because that’s where the big moves always come from. The 4-hour candle sets the bias. Once I determine the bias, there’s no need to guess—I simply align myself with it every time and never trade against my bias, even if price moves the other way.

Seek: When the 4HR candle opens, price hunts in the opposite direction of the real move or bias. It hits weak highs or lows or finds an imbalance, takes out liquidity, and traps traders going the wrong way. Most traders get caught here, but we wait.

Flip: Next, the market rejects at the seek phase, displaces, and shifts back with our bias. Structure changes, and imbalance appears in the direction of our bias—this is the confirmation we’re looking for. That’s when the sweep is done and the real move is setting up.

Launch: Here is where the 4-hour candle does the heavy lifting. Momentum takes over, the candle body expands toward the higher timeframe target, and we focus on those key levels. Entries are made from the 1m–5m charts for precision, but the move is always powered by the bias set by the HTF and 4HR candle open.

It’s simple: Seek, Flip, Launch. This model keeps you patient, aligned with the bias, and focused on the chart areas that matter. That’s how we stay consistent, whether trading indices or commodities like gold and oil. All it takes is a new 4HR candle forming with OLHC or OHLC.
