Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2026

This page explains what happens to your information when you visit captaintrades.com. This site has no sign-up form, no account area and no comments, so we collect very little ourselves.

What we collect on this site

We do not ask for your name, email or payment details on this site. Our host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address and the pages you request. We do not use them to identify you.

Both tools stay off until you press Accept on the cookie notice, and you can change your choice any time with Cookie choices at the bottom of the page. We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which parts of the page they view, how far they scroll, whether they start a video, and which buttons they click (for example the free trial button). Google Analytics uses cookies and receives your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you view. We do not use it to identify you by name. You can block it with your browser settings or a tracking blocker.

We also use the Meta pixel. It tells Meta (Instagram and Facebook) that you visited this site and what you did on it, such as clicking the free trial button or watching the video, so we can measure our ads and show ads to people who have looked at the site. It uses cookies and receives your IP address, device details and the pages you view. You can turn off ad personalisation in your Instagram and Facebook settings, or block the pixel with a tracking blocker.

Where links come from

If you arrive from a link with tracking tags, such as one in an Instagram bio, we pass those tags to Whop when you start your trial. This tells us which post or page brought you.

Other companies on this site

Whop handles your purchase, your account and your payment. It collects what it needs for that, under its own privacy policy.

Our videos play through Vidalytics, and some play through Google Drive. They may collect viewing data, such as whether and how long you watched. Our trading journals are shown from Tradesyncer. These companies have their own privacy policies, and we do not control them.

Links to Instagram, Discord, TradingView and our partner firms take you to their sites, where their policies apply.

What we do with information

We use it to run the site, to see which links work, and to look after your membership. We do not sell your information for money. Because the Meta pixel and Google Analytics pass visit data to Meta and Google, some laws (such as California's) treat that as "sharing" for advertising. You can stop it at any time: press Cookie choices at the bottom of the page and choose Decline, or use a browser that sends the Global Privacy Control signal, which we treat as Decline. We keep no profile of you on this site; Google and Meta keep the data they receive under their own policies and retention periods.

Where information is handled

Netlify, Whop and the other companies above may store and process information in the United States and other countries. By using the site, you accept that your visit data may be handled outside the country where you live.

Children

This site is for adults. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by messaging us through our Whop page: whop.com/cptt. For anything held by Whop, Vidalytics or the other companies above, you will need to ask them directly.

If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California, you also have the right to see, correct and delete your information, and to object to how it is used. We will answer within the time your local law sets, which is usually 30 to 45 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
